Dr. Wendell C. Wallace

Criminologist

Dr. Wendell C. Wallace is a Criminologist who lectures in Criminology and Criminal Justice at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. Dr. Wallace is also a qualified Attorney-at-Law in Trinidad and Tobago as well as in England and Wales and a practicing Mediator with the Mediation Board of Trinidad and Tobago. His research focuses on policing, violence (domestic and school) and gangs. He is the author/editor of seven book and over thirty journal articles and has received two international awards for his research. Dr. Wallace is a well-sought after feature speaker and in 2021 he delivered the keynote address at the inaugural Lecture Series hosted by The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine - Police Research Group (UWISA-PRG) and in June 2022, he delivered the keynote address at Oxford University, England, on “The State of Anglophone Criminology.” Presently Dr. Wallace is working on the Palgrave Handbook of Caribbean Criminology.
